Zeev Berman graduated Cum Laude from the Technion - Israeli Institute of Technology in both Electrical Engineering and Mathematics (1979). He has a M.Sc. from the Technion and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park, both in Electrical Engineering. From 1982 to 2009 he worked at Rafael, Defense Advanced Systems Ltd., in a variety of positions: development engineer, navigation section leader, head of automatic control department, systems engineer, and project manager for several multidisciplinary projects. He led the development of a number of navigation systems.
Dr. Berman has taught several engineering courses, mainly in the areas of control and statistics, at the Technion - Israeli Institute of Technology, and Emek HaYarden College. He has published more than 20 professional papers.
In 2009, Dr. Berman retired from Rafael and established Berman Consulting and Training Ltd. This one-man company provides consulting services, mainly in algorithm development, performance evaluation, sensor calibration, modeling, and systems engineering. In addition, the company offers navigation courses for systems engineers and navigation system developers.
